On the morning of October 15th, Yunnan Titanium Industry's cold-rolled titanium coil collaborative rolling was successful in Ningbo Baoxin, which played an important role in effectively utilizing the advanced steel rolling equipment of Baowu series and the advantages of collaborative rolling of titanium materials.

Under the leadership of Baowu scientist Chu Shuangjie, the Academia Sinica, Ningbo Baoxin, Baowu Special Metallurgical and Yunnan Titanium, after preliminary preparations, carried out detailed research on the whole process of production of cold rolled titanium strip products in Baowu Department and formulated Specific implementation plan. The pure titanium EB slab cast by Yunnan Titanium passed the hot{{0}}rolled hot-rolled coil at Baosteel Co., Ltd. in the early stage. The cold-rolled trial rolling was successfully carried out in Ningbo Baoxin on the morning of October 15th. The hot-rolled coil with a thickness of 3.0mm and a width of 1250mm was successfully rolled. For cold-rolled coils up to 1.5mm thick, the thickness accuracy, surface and coil shape appearance meet the predetermined target requirements.

In the next step, the project team will increase research, speed up the whole process of cold rolling of hot-rolled titanium coils in Ningbo Baoxin, continue to improve and improve quality, and make continuous efforts to make Baowu better, stronger and bigger in the titanium industry.
